Waukesha Metal specializes in stamping and fabrication of metal products used for automotive, medical, and other applications. The company turned to SSR when it needed to ensure and substantiate the security of data used in its internal operations and in interactions with customers and suppliers at its multiple locations in the USA and Mexico.
Over time, Waukesha Metal has worked with SSR to implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), advanced threat protection (ATP), disaster recovery and business continuity (DR/BCP), endpoint security and control, and anti-phishing programs with employee training. Additionally, SSR’s 24×7 monitoring and patching services ensure that vulnerabilities are detected and remediated without undue exposure to ongoing operations. In order to maintain a secure environment, Waukesha Metal also partnered with SSR to establish a remote backup site at SSR’s secure data center.
Working with SSR, Waukesha Metal has been able to secure its operations and demonstrate compliance with security requirements to customers and other outside parties as needed. Leveraging SSR’s IT engineering expertise, these upgrades and ongoing management have been achieved without significant addition to budgets or internal headcount.
