Windows End of Support

Windows Server 2008/R2 and Exchange Server 2010
End of Support is Near: Secure Your Environment Now

The clock is ticking! On January 14, 2020, Microsoft will end all support for on-premises Windows Server 2008/R2 and Exchange Server 2010. As of this date, there will be no more:

  • Security updates
  • Non-security updates
  • Free support options
  • Online technical content updates

This means that vulnerabilities in the operating systems that are found after this date will NOT be fixed by Microsoft. There will no longer be any type of support for these operating systems, which may leave your business exposed to security risks and a lack of compliance. If you are still running Windows Server 2008/R2 or Exchange Server 2010, the time to start planning is now.

At Superior Support Resources, Inc. (SSR), we can make you aware of the new options and tools to help protect your company for the future, take maximum advantage of today’s technologies for innovation, and cost-effectively manage the rapidly approaching end of extended support for these and other critical business systems. We can also prepare an assessment and lifecycle plan to help you determine which option is best based on your business objectives.

Please contact us with any questions, and we can help you get started upgrading and securing your environment before you reach end of support deadlines.
