COVID-19 Update: We are here for you.
We hope this message finds you, your family, and your friends in good health as we all navigate the rapidly changing COVID-19 outbreak together. The disruption we face is constantly changing and seems to be escalating each day. The SSR team remains dedicated to supporting our clients’ technology needs during this unprecedented time; while taking responsibility for the well-being of our employees, our clients, and our community.
We have been monitoring the situation closely through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other reliable resources (e.g., OSHA’s Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19 and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services)
We understand the volume and magnitude of the considerations you are wading through as you decide how your organization is going to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Many of our clients are considering temporary remote worker configuration for their staff to facilitate business continuity. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need assistance. We will help determine the best option(s) for your organization and develop an effective strategy.
At this time, SSR has decided to implement a remote worker plan for the majority of our team and believe it will not impact our ability to continue to provide services to our clients. The specifics are outlined below:
Help Desk & Network Operations
We will continue to provide services as normal. We do anticipate higher call volumes during this situation which may lead to higher wait and response times. Help desk subscribers should continue to contact us as they would normally.
If you do not subscribe to our help desk and need support, we are happy to help – please call our main office line at 262-784-9772 so we can coordinate the right resource.
On-Site Engineering for Scheduled Visits and Projects
Our goal is to provide services remotely whenever possible. Clients that have projects or regular on-site engineering visits scheduled will receive a confirmation call prior to the scheduled visit to determine the best options to meet everyone’s needs.
At the scheduled time, our engineer will call and email to confirm that they are beginning work, and follow up by phone and email with a work log.
Our dual-shore software development team continues to collaborate remotely maintaining projects, timelines, and communications.

As expected, the technology supply chain has experienced a direct impact from the COVID-19 outbreak. We have encountered significant delays and shortages in many cases with equipment. SSR utilizes the three largest global distribution partners, and we have expanded our partners where possible. SSR will ship product as it becomes available.
